Hitting the finish line!!!!

Hi All,

it is my pleasure to announce that we are hitting the finish line.
After walk through on the 6 October, the date for the handover has been set for the 14th October!!!

It is next Friday!!!

Freakin out a bit?? - definitely yes!!  so much to pack still and a new job starts on the 17th!!!

Pretty much - a new life with the middle of October. Can't complain :)

I have taken couple of last shots - one from outside to show the final picture as well as the picture of the carpet and clean tiles in the main living area.

Thank you for any comments and best wishes from everyone on this blog and in the actual reality.

We both appreciate all of the support from everyone and putting up with our   - talking about the house all the time- now we know how big building the house is - emotionally especially. Would we do it again?? Definitely yes, however, not for another year - I need to breath :))))

So once again - thank you everyone, enjoy the pics and will see most of you on the housewarming drinks.

well, we are almost there!!!!

The grass went in, fence is finished, final markings for corrections done on the walls.

Walk through scheduled for Thursday !!!!

Landscaping progress update

Hi All,

another week has passed and another couple of exciting things have happened :)

As you can see on the pics, the landscaping is happening full on and as per the SS words - it should be finished the coming Wednesday.

Inside - small progress as well - shower screens went in for both bathrooms as well as all the insect screens.

The SS booked with us the walk through for the 6th October. That will be a stressful moment and the test - how much the SS can stand us being pedantic and striving always for perfection.

landscaping started

Hi All,

This week the landscaping has started.

First thing a bit of cleanup and excavation, second thing - drive way - remove old walk path on the street, reposition the new driveway and prep for the slab to go in on Monday.

Really happy with everything so far.

inside - small progress - touch up on the gyprock and paintjobs, a bit of clean up. nothing major, but looks like everything is going great !!!!!

Hopefully mid october will the house become ours :)

Tiling update

the fence went down, the main area has been tiles, the lights are finished and the air con vents went in :)
