getting closer and closer

Hi All,

I though i will share just a touch of an update since last week.

This week  we had the final coat of paint done, all the skirting boards and frames painted, staircase first step has been exchanged as it has been done incorrectly. Part of the locks and handles went in, railing for the bathroom towels and toilet paper went in. Glass feature window in the lounge/dining is now in as well. The balustrade on the front balcony has been installed and the balcony finally painted :) so a bit of an update.

Enjoy the pictures :)

Till then

  1. Hi,

Your house looks great. I notice that your land had a fair bit of slope. If you don't mind me asking, can you indicate how much the site costs you incurred.

I have a land that has about 1.5m slope and am looking at building with Rawson as well.

    Thanks in Advance.

  2. Hi Chovhan,

    thank you for your comments.

Our land originally had a slope of around 0.7m, so the side costs were within the base price of the house. the only thing i had to pay extra is to move the driveway 1 meter left due to the position of my house, but i chose to move the house towards the left :)
The guys at Rawson Homes are always very helpful when it comes to the side costs, their estimation is very accurate and the fixed price contract is AWESOME!!!!!

Where abouts are you looking at building? I do highly recommend John Tan from Rawson Homes at Minto display as he is very experienced in the building industry. He helped us a lot with the design and the to keep within the budget.

Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions - happy to help.
